As you may know, I recently cracked my iPhone screen and had to pay $250 to get a replacement.

Now I’ve decided it’s time to get myself a case to prevent future iPhone damage, and I’m wondering:

Do you use a case to prevent damage to your iPhone?

  • Yes, I’m happy to say I’ve never damaged my iPhone (55%, 61 Votes)
  • No, I like to show off my shiny, naked iPhone (20%, 22 Votes)
  • No, I trust my iPhone is durable enough without a case (13%, 14 Votes)
  • Yes, I damaged my iPhone once, so I now use a case (12%, 13 Votes)

Total Voters: 110

Update: The poll is now closed. Thanks to those who voted.

Please feel free to add your input in the comments, and let us know what case (if any) you use. Thanks for sharing!

iPhone Shop

Update: I’ve closed down my iPhone shop. It was not a big attraction, so I have decided to focus my attention on the blog. If you’re looking for iPhone accessories, I recommend the everythingiCafe store.

With the help of Amazon.com, I’ve just opened up an online Apple iPhone shop where you can now buy iPhone accessories, books, and other iPhone-related items available on Amazon, so that you can begin dressing up your iPhone even before you buy it.

Expect more products in the iPhone shop this June and later in the year when the iPhone will have already debuted and accessories continue to spring up.

To minimize conflicts of interest, all product descriptions and customer reviews displayed in the shop are those of Amazon and its customers.

The store segment of the site will be kept separate from the blog, except, of course, when a really cool and innovative product comes out and I want to tell you guys about it.

Proporta iPhone case

Update: I expressed my love for this case when it was in the concept stages (see photo below). Now that it’s been released, it looks nothing like the original design, and it’s actually quite hideous. I hope Proporta runs with the original design someday instead of this ugly crap (shown above).

Proporta iPhone Case

I’m really digging this Proporta iPhone case, which conforms to the iPhone’s rounded edges and encloses all but the touchscreen (so you can still use it).

And I’m not sure but that gray ridge on the left side of the Proporta case (see photo) looks like a button for easily snapping off the enclosure. That would be cool.
