I don’t usually do this, but a reader contacted me looking for an iPhone app developer, so I’m posting his project details here to see if there are any developers who might be interested in this.

Andrew writes:

I have a project I’m working on for some local customers, and have been trying to contact a reliable programmer, experienced in developing iPhone applications. I would sincerely appreciate any referrals…

The project requires a directory listing of all customers. An overview of the project requirements:

  • Give brief description and five (5) photos of customer’s location (stored locally NOT on web)
  • Utilize Facebook API’s for social aspect (post notes to user’s profile, share URL, update status, generate event based on user actions)
  • Use GPS location for some features/notifications
  • Incorporate weather widget/module
  • Allow user ratings/comments
  • Allow user signup for services (data to be stored on web server or emailed to client)
  • Currency converter (data to be drawn from web server)

User interface and icons MUST be aesthetically appealing in a similar fashion to current iPhone apps. Developer can choose appropriate database.
