About 2 percent of iPhone buyers had trouble activating their phones because of a server overload at AT&T, reports the Washington Post.

“This kind of thing is not unusual when you have this number of people trying to buy something all at once,” said Enderle Group analyst Rob Enderle.

AT&T has made technical adjustments to its systems now and says the iPhone activation process is improving.
