AfterCollege.com has posted a job listing looking for a “Sr. iPhone Support Rep,” suggesting that Apple is preparing for the influx of attention the iPhone will generate in June when the device is released.

Training for the support team position begins in May when the applications are due. Job requirements include:

The Sr. iPhone Support Representative is responsible for answering questions for Apple customers and partners. Viewed as an escalation point, the candidate should be able to provide prompt, reliable, and accurate information to customers while maintaining effective communications during conversations by adjusting to the pace and technical level of the customer. — AfterCollege job listing

Apple has also posted a similar job opportunity on its website, offering a “newly created position (like a true pioneer) [that] will fuel the iPhone revolution!”
